Best Online Game Dark Willow Guide

WELLSPORTS NEWS:

Children love telling stories about the whimsical adventures of fairies... That’s because children don't know that most fairies are spiteful jerks. And in the world of spiteful fairies there are few names spoken of with more contempt than Mireska Sunbreeze.

Born to a fae merchant king, Mireska grew up in Revtel; a cutthroat nation where manipulation and murder were the norm. But while she was quite adept at navigating the etiquette, unspoken laws, and social rituals that permeated every element of her life, she found the whole thing rather boring.

So, Mireska did what most rebellious children do: burn down her family estate and set off with her pet wisp Jex to live the life of a wandering grifter.

This is the fourth guide I've ever created and I wanted to start with a short introduction about myself and the hero featured in this guide, Mireska Sunbreeze, the Dark Willow.

I've been the Community Manager of DOTAFire since March 4th 2014 and I've started playing Warcraft III's DotA map back in 2007. In 2012 I've joined DOTAFire and a month later I've received a Steam invitation to play DotA 2 BETA, at the time you needed an invitation to play so I had to wait for a while to get one. :D

Right now I have over 3.500 hours played and I'm trying my best to climb up my MMR, currently sitting at about 5.000 MMR. I've used to play competitively years ago in some amateur 6.000 - 7.000 MMR teams and didn't focus too much on ranked matchmaking at the time, so hopefully whenever I have the chance to play I'll be able to improve more!

Alright, enough information about myself, let's go back to Dark Willow! She's one of the newest additions to the game together with Pangolier and she's frequently picked across all skill levels and even in pro matches.

After testing out the hero myself, consulting other players and watching how professionals play Dark Willow, I believe she has all the means necessary to be a top tier support pick. Even though some players choose to play her as a core on the mid lane, I think the success of her as a mid won't last too much once the community gets used to the hero and starts to learn how to counter it. Nevertheless, feel free to play her as you like, be creative

Pros
Long range cast abilities
Strong burst damage
Can disable multiple targets and isolate enemies
Able to escape
Fast attack animation

Cons
Relatively long cooldowns
Weak against Black King Bar
Most abilities can be dispelled
Not great at clearing waves
Low health and health gain

Viper Guide and Build

 Worldcup

Wellsports Games:

This is the third guide I've ever created and I wanted to start with a short introduction about myself and the hero featured in this guide, Viper the Netherdrake.

Alright, enough information about myself, let's go back to Viper! This is one of my most played heroes and I can say that he's always been strong no matter the patch or meta. Viper is great at every stage of the game and he's very dominant in lane. He's durable, his damage output is scary and he's a pain to play against.

The pick and win rate of Viper is best throughout 2.000 - 4.000 MMR and it starts decreasing starting from 5.000 MMR. This happens because Viper is relatively easy to play but difficult to play against, thus being popular and strong in the lower brackets. However, in the higher brackets he's still strong but players tend to know what to pick and how to play against Viper.

Pros
Very durable
Great damage output
Difficult to play against
Relatively easy to play
Great starting stats

Cons
Weak against multiple targets
Low movement speed
Active abilities can be disjointed
Slow farmer
Small number of cosmetics

Online Game DOTA 2 PHOENIX guide

Best online game

Pheonix is a great offlaner that excells with levels and is not very reliant on items. This guide is going to focus on a new play style based around the new item meteor. It allows for much faster games and allows Pheo(Pheonix) to split push and rat buildings relatively safely.

Tranquils: pretty much gives you all the sustain youll need for the game. Buy every game unless you REALLY want gaurdian greaves. If so just buy brown boots.

Meteor hammer: Great stats and and all the mana regen you should need. 390 damage to a building and 590 to a hero. It has a very similar cool down to your dive which is fantastic. Just be careful of stunts when you go for the dive-hammer combo on towers.

Veil of Discord: This items always been decent on pheo, its even better now that sun ray is magical damage, it will make you do crazy amounts of damage, its better then kaya or even radiance on pheonix.

Aghanims Scepter: Fantasic item, i would recommend buying every game unless they have a troll. Wait till you Anti-mage gets deuled and put him in your egg. Make sure to use fire spirits so you dont kill your carry.

Euls Scepter: Decent if your up against silences, can also be combo'd with euls however dont buy it just for meteor hammer.

Shivas Gaurd: Very synergistic with your ult. Attack/movement slow, adds alot of intiation with to your ult.

Blink Dagger: Great with aghanims or if you want to repostion for sun ray.

Icarus Dive: Set ranged ability that does a movement slow lasts 4 seconds

Fire Spirits: Has 4 stacks to caste however the damage wont stack, last 4 seconds. Wait to see the enemy go into an animation to land this reliably.

Sun Ray: Decently high damage, long range ability spell, it also heals for the damage value.

Supernova: Large aoe damage spell that resests spell cool downs. Has a set amount of attacks to destroy, be careful with position this. Great for baiting enemys and surving ganks.

Note: All of pheonix's spells can be used at the same time except supernova. You can also use items while using all of pheo's spells.

Basic Combo's:-Dive + Fire Spirits
-Sunray + Fire Spirits
-Dive > Sun Ray
-Dive + Fire Spirits > Supernova

Advanced Combo's:-Shiva's > Dive > Veil + Fire Spirits > Supernova > Dive + Fire Spirits > Sun Ray
-Sun Ray + Fire Spirits + Veil > Dive + Supernova(Aghanims Save) > Fire Spirits + Sun Ray > Shiva's + Dive + Fire Spirits
-Dive + Euls + Meteor Hammer > Veil + Fire Spirits + Sun Ray

Ofcourse theirs more Varitions then these, but the above are some examples. After some time you should be able to just know what to do. Theres no "bad" items on pheonix and you'll always be able to close the gap with dive and retreat fairly safely.

Invoker Pros and Cons

Best online Game Invoker is a unique hero in that he has 15 spells at his disposal. You are known by many names. Carl, Arsenal Magus, Dark Magus, Prince Kael (WC3) and so on. He is arguably the most powerful hero in the game as long as the players mind is strong. As he says “my mind is my arcanery”. Invoker is the hardest hero in the game to play well. Learning Invoker is not like playing a normal hero, it takes a lot of time to master and even then, you will never truly be a master as you will ALWAYS be learning. The first step to mastering Invoker is casting aside arrogance and a sense of worth and accepting humility and mindfulness. You are not Miracle, IceIceIce, Dendi, W33 or Sumiya and even these players make mistakes. Imagine you are a humble student of magic learning from the Arsenal Magus (Invoker) as you play. My point is a good mentality is the fundamental building block for playing Invoker well.

Pros and Cons

Pros
. Most powerful hero in the game
. High damage output (this will depend on your spell potency)
. Most versatile hero in the game
. Difficult to counter pick
. Decent stat gains on level up
. Orbs and spells scale very well upon level up
. A spell for EVERY situation (I mean it…)
. You start with invoke as of Patch 6.86 to 7.09 present
. +4 int gain means your mana pool and right click scales very well per level
. One of the best disablers in the game
. High Magic resistance
. Can sustain himself very well in lane
. Can semi-carry or even carry
. Seriously fast movement speed later on (dependent on Wex lvl and instances invoked)
. Very good HP regen (Dependent on Quas lvl and instances invoked)
. Global presence with Sunstrike
. decent base regen now. 1.2 mana per second
. Agahnim Scepter upgrade is very good. It increases your Quas, Wex, Exort by one additional level increasing the potency of your spells. It also gives you stats, increased hp and mana pool and reduces cost of invoke to 0 with a 3 sec cd.
. Orbs cannot be dispelled by anything
. Has an insane debuff spell in tornado and one of the best counter initiation and teamfighting control abilities in the game
. 9 to 7 sec cd on tornado at lvl 25 with octarine core
. Has one of the best stuns in the game with cold snap (1000 range op)
. Decent strength gain for an intelligence hero and a not so squishy HP pool
. Can slow enemy heroes very well (ice wall, ghost walk)
. With the correct combo, can one-shot almost every hero in the game
. Naturally a very good team player due to his versatility
. FINALLY some good talents
. You can now have triple cataclysm with 2 refresher shards. Yeah you get cataclysm now ^^
. AOE disable with deafening blast

Cons
. Very hard to play well
. Generally hard to play, hero is skill dependent on player
. needs a good constant supply of xp and gold so you must play either mid or safe lane
. You will most likely need to buy up to 4 clarities to regen your mana if you have been Sunstriking. Sunstrike costs 175 mana which is devastating on invokers mana pool
. 0.5 cast time delay (THIS IS CRUCIAL!) Invoker can no longer instantly cast his spells making him vulnerable during invoking and casting
. Average armor
. Average laner due to nerfs in recent years
. Forge spirit has been nerfed a lot hurting his laning phase (damage has been reduced, you no longer start with 2 at lvl 8 with 4 Quas and 4 Exort, Magic resistance has been removed and Armor has been reduced)
. Spells are weak in the early game
. High mana cost for spells (mana conservation and spell potency are crucial)
. Slow movement speed in the early game (280)
. Although Invoke now has a 6 sec cd its mana cost is subtly high (60 mana). This makes getting aga sceptre on Invoker very important.
. Extremely vulnerable in the laning phase (usually if supports are ganking you need a support of your own to babysit you)
. VERY XP and somewhat Gold dependent. Invoker NEEDS levels to increase the potency of his spells
. Needs time and space in the laning phase to get online and in most situations, a babysitter

. Ghost Walk is not a reliable escape if enemy has dust
. Lacks a shield spell of any sort to reduce damage (this is perhaps the only type of spell he lacks since they removed 27 spell invoker years ago)
. Rubick the Grand Magus, can steal his spells… -.-
. Spell Potency is reduced if he is stunned or slowed making him somewhat reliant on BKB in certain games
. Suffered from LOTS OF NERFS (see below they also count as cons and the patch notes for more)
. Tornado is useless at lvl 1 Wex, most spells with their associated orbs at lvl 1 are generally very weak
. Tornado no longer grants the 600 AOE vision on its pathway as it used to
. Alacrity has been nerfed 45 mana cost to 60 sec and cd increased from 15 to 17 sec. As of patch 6.86 onwards the damage in certain orb instances has also been reduced (6.86C to 7.03, 7.06)
. EMP no longer has pure damage (7.00)
. Cold Snap has been nerfed. Initial debuff is now dispellable (6.87)
. Orbs no longer grants additional attribute bonus (7.00)
. Invoker no longer benefits from the attribute bonus at lvl 25 (7.00)
. Base intelligence has been reduced from 22 to 16 (6.87)
. Base agility has been reduced from 20 to 14 (6.86d)
. Average Farming

Best Online game Time Void Guide

This is my first guide, this is my view on the game for what I think is one of the hardest carry in dota, Faceless void.

Do you know why he is the hardest carry? Because he is absolutely unstoppable. Bkb? Linkensphere? It's all useless against this monster who can stop the flow of time.

Also the battlefury, we play him like a better antimage, who is less squishy.
Let me explain.

They both have a great mobility/escape skills in blink and timewalk. Time walk has a shorter range(which increases later) and can also heal you. It's a mini weaver ultimate every 6 seconds.

Then he gets a passive bash with an amazing 25% chance which is pretty f****** strong.

So basically he can move around like antimage while jungling with a magical bash. Therefore battlefury is the most helpful, it gives regen and air damage.

Another reason for battlefury is when you have multiple enemies in your chorono, you don't have time to kill all of them, but the cleave damage along with the speed from the mask of madness is big damage on all those poor enemy heroes. The attackspeed also help with the bash chance.

Lets say there's an opposing antimage split pushing like crazy, with all his illusions, it's easy to lose hope of catching him, mostly because he does NOT like to manfight an equally slotted void. Therefore battlefury, the damage will help spot this annoying f*** while also destroying them. Then permanently bash him to death. Or just chorono him, that's a dead rat and a sets of racks you can take down.

The third most important item, is Manta style, it's important because ofcourse being a melee agi carry, and then because only voids illusions and units under his control may move around in chorono, a previledge not even your allies enjoy. This helps you now down the enies caught in your time dome.

Now for the last part, teammates, the best ones are those mid int carries like OD, invoker and tinker. They are to help carry your early game and then output their insane amounts of damage on the enemy team inside a chorono. OD especially, can keep eating their minds for a good 5.5 seconds and then proceed to get a multi-kill or rampage while the opponent says "gg, noob am'

About the items, moment can be broken down for satanic and butterfly, while silver edge to break annoying passives like pa, BB, spectre.

Eye of skadi is for when you want to get easy kills when chronograph is down getting slowed down and bashed to death through bkb is enought to make the enemy rage quit.

Early game, time dilation is useless. The bash is the most useful incase the offlaner is harrassing and tower diving you, and the time walk for obvious reasons..

Don't try to teamfight too early, instead reach level 6. The moment you get a mask of madness and chorono is off cooldown, it is time to hank those lonely enemies pushing lanes, like a sniper

Thank you for your time, if you don't agree, just look at it logically.
